Block Management Update - September 2023
Welcome to our periodic update on Block Management News
We aim to regularly update our Leasehold clients with Industry information, activity within our business, and general items which we think you may find beneficial.
Reinforced Autoclaved Aerated Concrete (RAAC)
RAAC is a form of lightweight concrete which is sometimes also referred to as panels, typically used in roof planks of some public buildings and was in use between the mid 1950s to the mid 1990s.
The extent to which RAAC may be present in residential buildings is currently unclear and is being reviewed by the Construction Leadership Council (CLC) in conjunction with the cabinet office and other Government departments. As more information becomes available in the coming weeks we will be able to update clients at sites which might be affected.
